At Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center, we focus on the physical, social and emotional needs of the residents. Social workers help residents adjust to the new way of life and serve as liaison between the resident, the family and various departments.

 

Skilled nursing at Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center is a comprehensive program of care. Medical care, skilled nursing, dietary, rehabilitation, social activities and religious observances are all geared to the needs of the resident. It’s a team approach to maintain the highest quality of life.

Primary care physicians and nurse practitioners provide individualized medical care for each resident with specialists available as well. Day-to-day, round-the-clock care is provided by our staff of professional nurses – RNs and LPNs – assisted by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Our Rehab Department – an affiliate of Burke Rehabilitation Hospital – provides physical, occupational and speech therapy and is equipped with the very latest adaptive and assistive devices. A state of the art testing booth allows our Audiologist to perform complete hearing tests, hearing aid evaluations, fittings and maintenance checks.

Mealtime is special at Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center. Dedicated chefs prepare meals in our state of the art kitchen. Menus are prepared by a registered Dietitian with each resident’s meal individualized to meet ethnic, cultural and specific food choices, including the availability of kosher meals. Theme lunches, snack parties, holiday meals and restaurant trips further enhance our residents’ mealtime satisfaction.

In the safe and nurturing environment of Workmen’s Circle MultiCare Center, residents are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities available for every resident’s interest. Everything for the resident’s quality of life is here – including modern spacious rooms and amenities such as beautician and barber. Comfortable lounge areas on each floor are designed for the convenience of families and friends visiting residents.
